Grading Policies
Goldmine is a Record Collector's magazine published every two weeks
by Krause Publishing. It is the recognized leader in the field of
grading the condition
of vinyl records. Old and Gold Record Store has used the Goldmine
Grading System
since 1979. All of our records are visually inspected, and then
graded,
using the following guidelines.
SS = Still sealed from the factory. Has not been opened.
M = Mint. Has never been played. Record may still have sleeve dust.
M- = The record shows no signs of wear.
The jacket or picture sleeve
may have signs of slight handling.
VG+
VG++ Shows signs it was played, but was well
cared for.
The record will have most of it's original shine,
and may have minor surfaces noise.
The jacket or picture sleeve may show slight ring wear.
VG = Very Good.Surface noise will be evident,
may have light scratches
that will be audible. Label, picture sleeve or jacket will show wear.
Old and Gold Record Store doesn't offer records graded g=good, f=fair, p=poor.
Shipping Policies
Shipping charges for orders paid
by credit card, check or Money Order and shipped via
U.S. Postal Service=$2.00 for
1 record and 25
cents for each additional record in the U.S.A.
Shipping charges for C.O.D. via
U.S. Postal Service = $6.50 for
1 or 2 records and 25 cents for each additional record for U.S. orders
only.
No C.O.D. for orders outside
the U.S..
Air mail rates to Canada are $4.00 for the first item
and 50 cents for each additional item.
Overseas rates will be calculated based on the quanity
of items and the destination. We'll notify you of shipping costs.
